Pantech and Orange sign landmark deal
Pantech have just signed a deal with Orange to supply 3G handsets in France. Although this, the U4000, is not a Windows Mobile handset, it does mean that Pantech will now become an official supplier of handsets to Orange. Regular readers may remember the Windows Mobile powered Pantech PH-S8000T with it's tilt-and-fold screen which appeared over a year ago.Pantech plan to accelerate their growth in Europe so hopefully this may indicate the start of possible new Windows Mobile devices?
