Palm 750v announced on Cingular

You may remember our Palm Treo 750v review. It's safe to say that we were more than a little impressed with this exceptional phone and it showed. Until recently it's been exclusive to Vodafone in the UK and Europe, however Cingular now plan to release it too and it'll be the first Treo smart device running on Cingular's 3G/UMTS network.

The Treo 750v is a great device and, although there's no WiFi on board, it shouldn't be ignored. This is the best Pocket PC / phone combination I've seen and you'll rarely have to use the stylus.

The press release can be found below. The Treo 750 will be available as of today for consumers and businesses at Cingular Wireless retail stores, online at cingular.com and through Cingular's B2B sales. It'll cost $399.99 with a two-year contract and mail-in rebates. A variety of monthly data plans will be available, including unlimited plans starting as low as $39.99/month. If you're thinking of getting one (either on Vodafone here in the UK or on Cingular in the USA) do have a read of our review to see it put through it's paces.
